This Sunday @ Christ Church

WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY
This Sunday, October 1, Christ Church will welcome our Metropolitan District Superintendent Rev. Youngsook Charlene Kang to the pulpit as a guest preacher. We will also be celebrating World Communion Sunday as we participate in the Sacrament of Holy Communion along with faith communities around the world.

"INNER-BEAUTY" PAGEANT
Join us Sunday evening, October 1, at 6:30 p.m. for the Social Action Team's "Inner-Beauty" Pageant Variety Show! There'll be singing, storytelling, stand-up comedy, magic tricks, and maybe even a surprise or two! Throughout the evening you can bid on exciting items in our silent auction, including professional photographs, restaurant gift certificates, and more. Refreshments will be provided. Ticket will be available to purchase following worship Sunday morning and also at the door for a suggested donation of $15. All proceeds will directly benefit the Homeless Family Initiative and the two families that Christ Church is sponsoring.

Rally Day 2006

The Christ Church Fall Program had its annual "Rally Day" kick-off last Sunday morning. We had a superb turnout for both Adult and Children's Sunday School, followed by an exciting worship service in the sanctuary. Just after worship, we were treated to a picnic luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Special thanks to Regina Robuck and members the Congregational Care Team for planning and executing the Rally Day luncheon event!
