Halloween Party photos!

Fantastic costumes, fun games and prizes, spooky music, and deliciously ghoulish dinner items -- it must have been the annual Children's Education Halloween Party! Special thanks to the members of the Children's Education team who worked so hard planning and putting on this exciting event: Julie Major-Frunz, Margaret Simmons, Amanda Rivera and Kirsten Rielly.

Bee removal

On Tuesday, October 3, the Schultz Honey & Wax Inc. team of Arvada successfully removed a large bee hive from the rafters above the Christ Church choir room. The removed hive was 5 square feet in size and contained approximately 40,000 bees. The hive was not exterminated, but has rather been relocated in its entirety to another site by the removers.

The Schultzes photo-documented the complete process of the hive removal. Click here to see the over 100 fascinating photos of the bee hive being removed from Christ Church ("view as slideshow" is recommended!)
